Heart Salad Ingredients

Cooking a salad with a heart:
Step 1: prepare the pork heart.
To prepare a salad, it is best to prepare the heart in advance. Due to the fact that we will cook it, it will take a lot of time. Just then it will become soft and juicy. So, put the component on a cutting board and use a knife to cut it into several parts. We clean the pieces of the films and then rinse thoroughly under running water to remove all blood clots.
We spread the heart in a medium pan and fill it with ordinary cold water. We put the container on medium heat and wait for the liquid to begin to boil. To do this, cover the pan with a lid. Attention: during this period of time, foam will begin to form on the surface of the water, be sure to remove it with a slotted spoon. After boiling, reduce the heat a little and cook the meat for 10 minutes.
Immediately after that, we shift the hearts into a plate with a fork, and pour the boiling water into the sink, holding the pan with the help of kitchen oven mitts. Thoroughly rinse the container under running water and again lay out the component here. We fill the pan with ordinary cold liquid so that it completely covers the heart, and put it back on a small fire. After boiling water, cook meat 1,5 hour, from time to time, turning it with a fork from one side to the other so that it does not stick to the walls or to the bottom of the container. Important: in the event of the reappearance of the foam, be sure to remove it with improvised equipment. In 15 minutes until the heart is cooked to taste, salt the boiling water and mix thoroughly with a tablespoon.
Then turn off the burner, and transfer the component to a clean plate and leave it aside to cool to room temperature.
Now put the meat on a cutting board and cut into thin strips or small pieces. Finely chopped component is transferred back to the plate.
Step 2: prepare the carrots.
Using a knife, peel the carrots and rinse thoroughly under running water. Using a coarse grater, grind the vegetable directly on the cutting board and then pour the chips into a clean plate.
Step 3: prepare the onions.
With a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse well under running water. We lay out the component on a cutting board and grind in half rings. Attention: the onion can also be cut into four parts, and after each chopped into thin strips. The crushed component is transferred to a free plate and temporarily set aside.
Step 4: prepare the eggs.
We lay the eggs in a small pan and fill with ordinary cold water so that it completely covers the component. We put the container on medium heat and cover it with a lid. After boiling the liquid, we cook hard-boiled eggs for 10 minutes.
After the allotted time, we turn off the burner, and put the pan with the help of kitchen tacks in the sink under a stream of cold water. When the component has completely cooled down, we can easily remove the shell from it with clean hands.
We lay the eggs on a cutting board and finely chop the cubes with a knife. Pour the crushed component into a clean plate.
Step 5: prepare the parsley.
We wash a couple of parsley branches under running water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. With a knife, remove the stems, and move the leaves in a free saucer. We will have greens for decoration. Attention: in fact, you can do without parsley. As you like. I add greens according to my mood.
Step 6: prepare a salad with a heart.
Pour 1/2 of the vegetable oil into the pan and put on a strong fire. When the container with the contents is hot, gently pour the carrot chips here. From time to time, stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the component until golden brown and until soft. Immediately after this, pour the carrots into a plate so that it cools faster and does not take up space.
We do not turn off the burner, but put the pan back. Now pour here all the remaining oil and spread the chopped onion. In the same way as carrots, fry this component over high heat. After we turn off the burner, and set the capacity aside. Attention: if you want the onions to cool faster, then you can sprinkle it with a wooden spatula in a clean plate.
In a deep salad bowl we spread the chopped eggs, heart, cooled fried vegetables (we try to leave the highest vegetable oil in a plate), and also salt and pepper the dish to taste. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. Everything, a salad with a heart is ready!
Step 7: serve the salad with the heart.
Before serving, if desired, decorate a salad with a heart with parsley leaves and treat the household with slices of bread.
- You can also use a beef heart to make a salad. It will take you 1.5-2 hours to cook such a component, with one condition that every 30 minutes you will change the water and remove the foam with a slotted spoon;
- for a piquant taste, before dressing salad in mayonnaise, you can add 1-2 cloves of garlic;
