Pizza and pepper ingredients

Cooking pizza with pepper:

Step 1: prepare the tomatoes for the sauce.


First of all, we need to prepare the sauce, as this will take some time. So, we wash the tomatoes under running water and put in a small bowl. Pour boiling water over the component and leave to blanch for 3-5 minutes. Immediately after that, carefully pour out the hot water, and put the vegetables on a cutting board.

With clean hands, peel and, using a knife, cut the tomatoes in half.

Using a teaspoon, remove the seeds. Attention: if necessary, cut off the greenish areas, as they can ruin the consistency of the filling. Slices of tomatoes are transferred to a clean plate.

Step 2: prepare the greens for the sauce.


We wash dill, parsley and basil leaves under running water. We spread the greens on a cutting board and remove the stems with a knife. All components are transferred to a container with tomatoes and temporarily set aside.

Step 3: prepare the garlic for the sauce.


We spread the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the tip of a knife. With clean hands, remove the husk, and move the cloves into a common plate with other ingredients for the sauce.

Step 4: prepare onions for the sauce.


Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse thoroughly under running water. We spread the component on a cutting board and cut it into several parts. We chop the chopped onion into a plate with tomatoes and other components for the sauce.

Step 5: prepare the pizza sauce.


Put all the greens, garlic cloves and onion slices in a blender. At medium speed, grind everything until smooth. Then add peeled tomatoes to the bowl and continue chopping until mashed.

Pour olive oil into a saucepan or stewpan and put on medium heat. When the container with the contents warms up well, pour the tomato mixture into it. We bring everything to a boil and immediately after that we pour salt, paprika and sugar to taste. Attention: the last component is needed approximately 2 teaspoons. Now we reduce the heat to the maximum and simmer the sauce for 1-1.5 hours under the lid, stirring occasionally with a wooden spatula.

The dressing should be thick, uniform and very aromatic. Important: at the end you need to taste the tomato mixture and add some more salt or sugar as needed. That's it, turn off the burner, and set the stewpan aside. Let the sauce cool to room temperature.

Step 6: prepare the flour mixture for the dough.


Pour two types of flour into a sieve and carefully sift it into a medium bowl. After that, add salt, sugar and dry yeast here. Using a fork, mix everything until a homogeneous mixture is formed.

Step 7: prepare the egg mixture for the dough.


Break the egg into a deep bowl and beat it with a fork until smooth.

Immediately after that, pour olive oil into the container. Again, beat all the ingredients well with improvised equipment. At the end, pour ordinary water into the bowl. Attention: the liquid before this must be heated in the microwave literally 10-12 minutesso that it becomes barely warm. Again, beat everything with a fork until smooth.

Step 8: prepare the pizza dough.


Pour the egg mass into a bowl with flour mixture and, using a fork, mix everything thoroughly. When the contents in the bowl become homogeneous, pour some more premium wheat flour here and continue to knead the dough with clean hands. We do this until it becomes tight and stops sticking to our hands. The dough should be quite elastic.

Immediately after that, we give it the shape of a ball and cover the bowl with a cloth towel or paper towel. Put the container in a warm place for 45 minutes.

After the allotted time, the dough should increase in size 2 times. In the meantime, prepare the filling.

Step 9: prepare onions for pizza.


Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse thoroughly under running water. Spread the component on a cutting board and cut into thin strips. To do this, you can cut the onion into quarters or halves and chop each one with a knife.

Pour the crushed component into a deep bowl and fill it with wine vinegar. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly and leave to marinate for 30 minutes. After the allotted time, fill the onion strips with a small amount of boiling water and leave another for 2-3 minutes. This must be done so that all bitterness and unpleasant aftertaste that can spoil pizza come out of it. Then we transfer the component to a sieve and rinse under running water to leave excess vinegar. We put the prepared onion back into the bowl, but be sure to clean, and leave it for a while aside.

Step 10: prepare the bell peppers.


We wash the pepper under running water and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, remove the tail and seeds. Now we cut the vegetable into strips of the same thickness and move it to a clean plate.

Pour into the pan 2 tablespoons olive oil and put on medium heat. When the container with the contents warms up well, put the pepper strips in it. From time to time, stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the component until it becomes soft. Then we reduce the fire, cover the pan with a lid and stew pepper 15 minutes. Attention: necessarily every 2-3 minutes mix it with the help of improvised inventory so that it does not burn. After the allotted time, turn off the burner, and set the capacity aside.

Step 11: prepare the tomatoes.


We wash the tomatoes under running water and put them on a cutting board. Using a knife, cut them into circles and carefully move them to a clean plate.

Step 12: prepare the green onions.


Rinse the green onions under running water and put on a cutting board. Finely chop feathers with a knife and pour into a free saucer.

Step 13: prepare the garlic.


We spread the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the tip of a knife. We clean the husk with clean hands. Now we cut the cloves into thin strips and transfer to a clean saucer.

Step 14: prepare the cheeses.


Using a medium grater, we grind the cheeses in turn. First we rub Parmesan directly on the cutting board and immediately pour it into one free saucer.

Then grind Mozzarella cheese and transfer it to another.

Step 15: prepare the olives.


We put the olives on a cutting board and cut into circles. The crushed component is transferred to a clean saucer.

Step 16: make pizza with pepper.


We put the finished dough on the kitchen table, crushed with flour. Using a rolling pin, we roll out the dough into a thin thick cake no more than 1 centimeter. To do this, each time we turn the layer on the other side and, if necessary, add a little flour.

Carefully shift the finished cake into a baking dish, pre-lubricated with olive oil. We align along the edge with clean hands and be sure to pierce the entire surface with a fork so that during preparation the dough does not increase much in size.

Now, using a tablespoon, spread the sauce throughout the tortilla. Attention: Be sure to apply the tomato mixture on the sides, since usually a little filling gets there and the cake can become hard during baking.

Then we spread the pickled onions in turn, sprinkle with dried oregano, add the circles of tomatoes, put the olives between them. After that, sprinkle everything with Mozzarella cheese, add plates of garlic and finely chopped green onions. Now, nicely and evenly, we spread fried sweet pepper on the entire surface of the pizza. With clean hands, lightly crush the filling of the pizza and at the end sprinkle everything with Parmesan cheese. Leave the pastries aside for 15 minutesand meanwhile, heat the oven to a temperature 200 ° C. Immediately after that, put the form on a medium level and bake the dish for 16-17 minutes.

After that, using kitchen tackles, we get out a baking sheet and check the readiness of the dough. To do this, slightly raise the pizza with the edge of a wooden spatula and look, if the dough is already well browned, then you can turn off the oven. If not, then it’s worthwhile to extend the cooking time for 3-5 minutes.

Then turn off the oven, and take out the baking dish and leave aside to cool slightly.

Step 17: serve pizza with pepper.


We put hot pizza with pepper on a special flat plate, cut it into 6-8 parts with a knife and serve it with tea, juice or beer to the dining table.
