Cooking oatmeal cookies with nuts:

Step 1: prepare the products.


1-1.5 hours before the start of cooking, we take out the eggs with butter from the refrigerator and allow them to warm to room temperature. Then we take the right amount of nuts, it can be forest or ordinary walnuts, and sort them out, removing any rubbish. Then proceed as desired: either chop the nuts in a blender, or finely chop with a kitchen knife on a cutting board. After that, put on the table the remaining products that you will need to make the cookies.

Step 2: prepare the dough.


When the oil softens, put it in a deep bowl. There, we sift through the sieve with a fine mesh the right amount of wheat flour and grind these products with a wooden kitchen spoon.

Then we add oatmeal, crushed nuts, brown sugar, food baking powder, vanilla sugar, a couple of eggs into the resulting mixture and carefully mix all the ingredients with a tablespoon to a uniform viscous consistency.

After that, let the resulting test infuse at room temperature for 10-15 minutesso that the flakes swell, and in the meantime we turn on and preheat the oven up to 180-190 degrees Celsius. We also cover the non-stick baking sheet with a sheet of parchment or baking paper, or grease it with a thin layer of butter or vegetable oil.

Step 3: make oatmeal cookies with nuts.


Next, we pick up a tablespoon of oatmeal dough, in our palms we form a ball the size of a large walnut or plum from it and send it to a prepared baking sheet. In the same way, we sculpt the rest of the cookies and spread them in rows, not forgetting to leave about 3 centimeters free space between each serving.

When all the cookies have been formed, put it in the preheated oven on 15-20 minutes. After the necessary time has passed, we put on kitchen gloves in our hands, rearrange the baking sheet on a cutting board previously laid on the kitchen table, and with the help of a kitchen spatula we shift the finished baked goods onto a metal grate. After the cookies have cooled, we serve it to the table on dessert plates.

Oatmeal cookies with nuts are served at room temperature. After cooking, it is cooled, optionally poured with icing, melted chocolate, decorated with cream or treated to it without all these additions.

- very often, crushed dried fruits are added to the dough;

- the baking powder for the test can be replaced with a teaspoon of baking soda;

- to enhance the aroma, spices such as cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamom or nutmeg can be added to the dough;

- if desired, butter can be replaced with margarine, but only of the highest grade.
