Cooking Chips with Red Onion:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


First of all, using a sharp kitchen knife, peel all vegetables from the peel and rinse them under a stream of cold running water. Potatoes immediately cut into large cubes of approximate size from 1.5 to 2 centimeters. We shift it into a deep pan, fill it with purified water so that it is 3-4 centimeters above them, and put on medium heat. When the liquid boils, add salt to it and cook the potatoes 5-10 minutes until half ready.

Then we dry the red onion and garlic with paper kitchen towels, take turns putting them on a cutting board and chop. The teeth are finely chopped.

Onions are cut lengthwise into 8-12 slices. When the potato reaches the desired degree of readiness, we discard it in a colander and leave it in it until use to drain the remaining water. We also put on the kitchen table the remaining products that will be needed for the dish. After all the ingredients have been prepared, you can proceed to the next step.

Step 2: prepare the fried potatoes with red onions.


We put on a medium heat a deep frying pan with butter. As soon as it melts and warms up, dip the chopped red onion with garlic. Fry them for 2 minutesstirring vigorously with a kitchen spatula.

Then add the potatoes to the pan, mix the vegetables to a uniform consistency so that they are evenly covered with oil, and fry together under a covered lid for about 25 minutes.

Then we taste the dish, if necessary, add a little bit, add a couple of pinch of black pepper if desired, mix everything again, put the potatoes in portions on plates and serve to the table.

Step 3: serve the fried potatoes with red onions.


Fried potatoes with red onions are served immediately after cooking as a side dish, along with any meat or fish dishes, as well as in the form of a main dish, complemented by fresh vegetable salads. Enjoy superb fast food!

Recipe Tips:

- if desired, 2 minutes before cooking, potatoes can be seasoned with any spices that are used during the preparation of vegetable dishes;
