Cooking fish in the oven under mayonnaise:

Step 1: prepare the fish.


First of all, we prepare fish, you can use any boneless, for example, hake, halibut, tilapia. We rinse it under cold running water and dry it with paper kitchen towels. Then proceed as desired, or cut each filet into small portioned slices, or leave it whole.
We shift the fish into a small bowl, squeeze the juice from it half of the lemon onto it, sprinkle to taste with salt, black pepper and seasoning. Mix everything with clean hands so that the grains of spices cover the fillets on all sides, tighten the bowl with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2: prepare the garlic-mayonnaise mixture.


About after 50 minutes you can start cooking the garlic mixture, but first turn on and heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Then peel the cloves of garlic and peel them through a press or chop finely on a clean cutting board. We shift the chopped vegetable into a small bowl, add mayonnaise to it and carefully mix these products with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency.

Step 3: prepare the cheese.


Then we cut off the paraffin crust from the hard cheese and rub it on a fine, medium or large grater directly into a deep bowl. If desired, this ingredient can be cut into smaller pieces and grind them in a blender to the state of crumbs.

Step 4: cook the fish in the oven under mayonnaise.


After an hour, we grease the bottom of the heat-resistant baking dish with half a portion of the garlic-mayonnaise mixture. From above we gouge out the pickled fish with an even layer. Then cover the fillet with the remaining garlic mayonnaise and sprinkle with chopped cheese.

Put the form in a preheated oven on 40-45 minutes. After the required time, we put on kitchen gloves, take out the fragrant dish from the oven and put the form on a cutting board, previously laid on the table. Using a kitchen spatula, arrange the fish on plates and serve to the table.

Step 5: Serve the fish in the oven under mayonnaise.


Fish in the oven under mayonnaise is served hot as a second course. Basically this dish is served with some kind of side dish: mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables salad, cereals from different cereals, pasta, boiled or steamed rice, the addition depends on your desire.
