Making almond cake with oranges:

Step 3: prepare the oranges.


We wash the oranges under running water and put them on a cutting board. Using a juicer, squeeze the juice out of half a citrus.

Peel another orange with a knife. We divide the component into slices and after each we remove the film and the bones. The prepared slices of citrus are transferred to a clean plate.

Step 4: prepare the egg-sugar mixture.


Using a knife, break the eggshell and pour the yolks and squirrels into a free medium bowl. Pour sugar here. Using a mixer or hand whisk, beat the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is formed. Attention: if you are using an electrical appliance, then mix the eggs with sugar at low speed until saturated foam appears.

Step 5: prepare the dough for the pie.


In the egg-sugar mixture, add pieces of soft butter and beat with a whisk until smooth. Then pour sour cream in a bowl and mix everything thoroughly again.

Next, pour freshly squeezed orange juice. Beat the mass with the same inventory and pour the flour mixture in small portions at the end. Attention: mix everything in parallel so that no lumps form. We should get a thick dough. Immediately after this, we proceed to the stage of baking.

Step 6: make almond pie with oranges.


Cover the baking dish with special paper. Using a tablespoon, pour the dough here and level its surface. Now gently spread the orange slices, pressing them with clean fingers into a thick mass. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to a temperature 180 ° C. After that, put the baking dish on the middle level and prepare the pie for 45-50 minutes until a golden crust forms on its surface. Immediately after that we turn off the oven, and we take out the container with the help of kitchen oven gloves and set it aside.
