Ingredients for making chicken wings in honey-lemon sauce

Cooking chicken wings in honey-lemon sauce:
Step 1: prepare the chicken and the oven.
First of all, turn on and preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. After this, we proceed to the preparation of the products.
We rinse under the cold running water the right amount of chicken wings, while cleaning from feathers left after machine cleaning.
Then we dry them with paper kitchen towels, put them on a cutting board and cut them into joints into 2 parts, removing the phalanges if desired.
Step 2: bake the chicken - stage one.
We shift the prepared wings into a heat-resistant baking dish or onto a non-stick baking sheet covered with a sheet of aluminum food foil.
Sprinkle them to taste with salt, black pepper and leave as they are on 5 - 6 minutes. Next, put the form in a preheated oven on 30 minutes and immediately proceed to the preparation of the sauce.
Step 3: prepare lemon honey sauce.
We peel the cloves of garlic, put them on a clean cutting board, chop into small pieces with a sharp kitchen knife and transfer the chopped vegetable into a small bowl.
There, using a manual or electric juicer, squeeze the juice from one lemon, add liquid honey, taste black ground pepper and a tablespoon, mix these ingredients to a homogeneous consistency - the sauce is ready!
Step 4: bake chicken - stage two.
30 minutes after the start of baking, open the oven door, gently stretch the form, pour the wings with lemon-honey sauce and mix them so that the aromatic mixture covers parts of the chicken from all sides.
Again, send the form to the oven again on 20 - 25 minutes or bake poultry until desired roast.
After the required time, we put on kitchen gloves, remove the finished dish from the oven, put the form on a cutting board, previously laid on the countertop, and use the kitchen spatula to spread the wings on plates. Then we serve them to the table with your favorite side dish.
Step 5: Serve the chicken wings in honey-lemon sauce.
Chicken wings in honey and lemon sauce are served both hot and cold. If desired, each serving is sprinkled with chopped green onions, fresh dill, parsley, cilantro, and fried sesame seeds.
Such a dish can be supplemented with any side dish: boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, fresh vegetable salad, boiled rice, cereals from different cereals or pasta. Enjoy a delicious and simple meal!

- in the sauce you can put spices such as allspice, dried basil, paprika, and these are just a few of the possible options;
- this marinade is suitable for baking other parts of the chicken: drumsticks, thighs, breast;
- frozen honey must be heated in a microwave oven (60 seconds) or melted in a water bath and then combined with other products that are intended for the sauce;
- if you are confident in your oven, you can not cover the baking sheet with foil. In my case, it was used only to preserve the remains of chicken fat and sauce.
