Broccoli Salad with Chicken and Mushrooms


Ingredients for making broccoli salad with chicken and mushrooms.

Making broccoli salad with chicken and mushrooms:

Step 1: prepare the chicken fillet.


We wash the chicken fillet under running water and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, we remove the veins, grease and film. We transfer the component to a free pan, fill it with water and put on medium heat. When the water boils, we make the fire less than average and be sure to remove the foam formed from the meat with a slotted spoon. We cover the pan with a lid and cook the chicken for 30-40 minutes. After the allotted time, turn off the burner and transfer the component with a slotted spoon or a fork to a separate plate. Set aside for a while until it cools completely.

When the meat becomes an acceptable temperature, put it on a cutting board and cut into medium-sized cubes. Attention: chicken fillet can also be torn by hands into pieces of arbitrary shape. Shredded component is transferred to a free plate.

Step 2: prepare the broccoli.


We put a pan with ordinary cold water on medium heat and cover with a lid. When the liquid boils, make the fire less than average and carefully spread the freshly frozen broccoli into the container. Blanch the cabbage for 5 minutes in boiling water.

Immediately after that, turn off the burner, and drain the water with the component into the sink through a colander. Allow liquid to drain completely.

After that, put the broccoli on a cutting board and cut into small pieces. Attention: large inflorescences are cut into about four parts. Small can be left in this form. Shredded component is transferred to a free deep plate.

Step 3: prepare the champignons.


Thoroughly rinse the mushrooms under running water and put on a cutting board. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and temporarily place them in a free plate.

Now pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and put the container on medium heat. When the oil warms up well, put the crushed champignons into it and mix everything well with a wooden spatula. Fry the component until a soft golden color, occasionally stirring with improvised equipment. At the end, salt to taste and turn off the burner.

Step 4: prepare the gherkins.


We spread the gherkins on a cutting board and, using a knife, grind it into pieces. The finely chopped component is transferred to a clean plate.

Step 5: prepare salad dressing.


Pour mayonnaise to the bowl and pour the curry. Attention: for dressing, you can use mayonnaise as fat content of 40% and 78%. So, with the help of a tablespoon, mix everything well until smooth.

Step 6: prepare broccoli salad with chicken and mushrooms.


Put slices of chicken, broccoli, fried mushrooms and chopped gherkins in a deep bowl. Mix everything carefully with a tablespoon.

At the end, pour salad dressing and can serve at the dinner table. Attention: You can also separately put curry mayonnaise and mixed ingredients on the table so that each guest can independently fill their own dish.

Step 7: serve broccoli salad with chicken and mushrooms.


Pour the finished salad into the salad bowl and serve it to the dining table. The dish is very tasty, as it perfectly combines all the ingredients. This salad can even be served on various holidays, as it will not only be able to give you pleasure in taste, but also decorate the table.
