Ingredients for Cooking Potato Brushwood

Cooking potato brushwood:
Step 1: Cooking Potato Dough.
Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces and boil until ready in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain all the water and leave the potatoes to cool.
Now our task is to turn mashed potatoes, or rather, a homogeneous (without lumps) potato mass. The easiest way to grind potatoes is warm, so don't let it cool too much. Take the pusher - five minutes, and everything will be ready. There is another way - you can skip the potatoes through a meat grinder, if you are not embarrassed by the need to then disassemble and wash it.
So, the potato mass is ready. Beat the egg in a uniform lush mass and add to mashed potatoes.
Mix the potato mass with the egg, add salt. Gradually pour in the pre-sifted flour and knead the dough. Do not add all the flour at once, you may need a little more or less than indicated in the recipe. Potato dough should be soft and plastic.
Roll out the dough into a layer with a thickness of about 3-4 mm. We cut it into long strips with a width of 3 cm and a length of about 10-15 cm. In the middle of each strip we make a long incision.
We take a strip, we pass one tip into an incision and turn it through it. Repeat the process with each bar. Meanwhile, you can put the oil to heat.
Pour oil into a pan with a thick bottom (to get a height of at least 5 cm) and heat to a boil. In oil, fry potato brushwood (three to four pieces at a time) until light brown. Take out the finished brushwood with a slotted spoon and put it on a plate covered with a paper napkin. After it absorbs excess oil, replace it. Put the brushwood on a clean, dry plate.
Step 2: Serve the potato brushwood.
Serve delicious crispy potato brushwood to the broth, as a side dish for fish and meat dishes or just with sour cream or your favorite sauce.
