Raw Beetroot Salad


Raw Beet Salad Ingredients

  2. Pear 2 pcs
  3. Feta Cheese 100 g
  4. Mint leaves to taste

  6. Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. spoons
  7. Honey 1 tbsp. spoon or to taste

Making raw beetroot salad:

Step 1: Preparing the dressing.


We advise you to start making salad with dressing. So, carefully wash the lemons under running water, dry with kitchen towels and on a grater with small holes or a special grater for citruses we rub the zest one lemon. Then we cut already two lemons in half and squeeze the juice into any convenient cup or plate. Combine the zest and juice, add vegetable oil, honey to them and mix thoroughly until smooth.

Step 2: chop the beets.


Now we very thoroughly wash the beets under running water, peel them, lay them on a cutting board and cut them either in neat little cubes, or with an average cube, or rub them on a grater with large holes. Then we shift to a beautiful large plate or salad bowl.

Step 3: Cut the pears.


We wash the pears under running water, the skin can be cut off, or you can leave it - it depends on your taste. We shift to a cutting board, cut off the tops, cut in half, remove the core with seeds and grind the same as beets: with cubes, medium cubes or rub on a coarse grater.

Pears are placed in a plate with beets.

Step 4: chop the mint.


We wash the mint leaves under running water, shake off excess liquid, put it on a cutting board and finely chop with a sharp knife. Two tablespoons of chopped mint will be enough, but you can adjust the amount to your liking.
Add the mint to the salad bowl.

Step 5: Grind the cheese and season the salad.


Feta is a soft cheese, so you can either cut it into neat cubes or chop it with your hands.
Mix the ready-made salad, season it and you can serve it to the table.

Step 6: Serve the raw beetroot salad.


Beetroot salad is served immediately after cooking. He does not need any additions, unless any freshly squeezed juice is suitable. Everything, you can call everyone to the table to enjoy delicious and healthy food!

- Feta cheese can be replaced with any other soft cheese, such as feta cheese.

- Bartlett pears are successfully combined with beets.

- Pears can be replaced with apples.

- Salad can be seasoned with any vegetable oil, but it is better to give preference to olive.
