Cutlets with zucchini in a slow cooker

Cooking cutlets with zucchini in a slow cooker:

Step 1: prepare the zucchini.


We wash the zucchini under running water and put it on a cutting board. Using a coarse grater, grind the vegetable and then transfer it to a free plate.

Step 2: prepare the minced chicken.


Minced chicken must be fresh (it is better to cook it yourself using a meat grinder than to buy one that is already ready). After all, just such mincemeat will give cutlets more juiciness, aroma and shape. So, put it in a free bowl and temporarily set it aside.

Step 3: prepare minced meat for cutlets.


We shift the squash chips into a bowl with minced meat and mix everything well with a fork until smooth. After this, pour the flour into the container, add salt and black pepper to taste, and again mix everything thoroughly with a tablespoon. That's it, the mince is ready!

Step 4: prepare the butter.


We spread the butter on a cutting board and, using a knife, cut into small pieces. The crushed component is placed in a free saucer.

Step 5: prepare the patties with zucchini in a slow cooker.


So, rinse your hands under running water (so that the meat mixture does not stick) and form a cutlet from a small amount of minced meat, which we temporarily shift to a chopping board sprinkled with flour. When all the cutlets are formed, turn on the slow cooker. Pour some vegetable oil into the pan and turn on frying mode. When the oil warms up well, carefully lay the patties on the bottom of the container and fry them for 15-20 minutes to a golden color that forms on one side. Immediately after that, add pieces of butter to the multicooker and use a wooden spatula or kitchen tongs to turn the meat dish on the other side. We continue to fry cutlets for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown. As soon as the dish is ready, a signal will sound. Now you can get it out of the slow cooker, put it on a special plate and serve it to the dining table.

Step 6: serve the cutlets with zucchini from the multicooker.


Due to the zucchini and butter, the patties are very juicy and soft. This dish is ideal for side dishes such as mashed potatoes, various cereals, and a salad of fresh vegetables.

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of minced chicken, you can add any other to your taste in the dish. For example, it may be minced beef, pork or turkey;

- optionally, chopped onions, garlic or fresh herbs can be added to cutlets;

- cutlets can turn out with a fried golden crust if you roll them in advance on all sides in breadcrumbs.
