Cooking snack cakes:

Step 1: prepare the mushrooms.

A couple of hours before the start of the preparation of snack cakes, put the finished puff pastry on the kitchen table and give it the opportunity to defrost.
Meanwhile, we wash the mushrooms under cold running water and cut off their roots. Then we dry the mushrooms with paper kitchen towels, take turns placing them on a cutting board and cut into strips or plates up to one centimeter thick. Leave the cut on the cutting board.

Step 2: fry the mushrooms.

Then we put the pan on medium heat and pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil into it. After a couple of minutes, dip the mushroom slices into the heated oil and salt to taste. Then fry the mushrooms for 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown.

We periodically mix them with a kitchen spatula so that the mushrooms do not stick to the pan. After the champignons slightly decrease in size and change the light beige hue to brown, transfer them to a deep plate and cool.

Step 3: prepare the dough, baking sheet and oven.

When the dough unfreezes, turn on and preheat the oven up to 180 - 190 degrees Celsius. Then we wet the pan with a small amount of water and cover it with a sheet of baking paper.
Now we remove the packaging from the dough, unfold the full-length sheet of the semi-finished flour product and spread it on the baking sheet prepared for baking.
We align the dough with your hands so that the rectangle lies more evenly, and cut it into twelve equal squares. Their approximate diameter is 10 centimeters. After that, we immediately proceed to the next step.

Step 4: prepare the salami cheese.

Remove the food shell with salami and cut it into halves, quarters or rings. It is advisable that the slices of sausage are not too large - up to 3 to 4 millimeters.

Remove the packaging from the hard cheese and cut it into squares on 2 - 3 centimeters smaller than those from puff pastry. We spread the slices into separate plates and begin to form pies.

Step 5: form the snack cakes.

We spread in the middle of each flour square a slice of cheese.

Put a piece of salami on top of the cheese.

And the last but not least ingredient is fried mushrooms. We distribute them in equal amounts over the salami.
Then we take one of the ends of the flour square and cover them with the filling. We connect the opposite end to the base of the pie and gently pinch it with your fingers so that the dough does not unfold during baking.

Step 6: bake snack cakes.

Put the baking tray with the formed pies in the preheated oven on 15 - 20 minutes.
When the dough is covered with a blush, we put on kitchen gloves in our hands, we take out the pastries from the oven and put the baking sheet on a cutting board, previously laid on the kitchen table.

Helping ourselves with a kitchen spatula, we shift the pastries onto a large flat dish, cool it to room temperature and serve it.

Step 7: serve the snack cakes.

Snack pies - the perfect complement to a buffet or dinner for two. They can be served at room temperature or in a warm form. This pastry can be served with fruits, sandwiches, fresh vegetable salads, sauces or other snacks. Enjoy delicious and easy-to-cook food!
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of fried mushrooms, you can use pickled mushrooms.

- Vegetable oil can be replaced with butter.

- Very often, instead of hard cheese, processed cheese is used.

- If you do not have baking paper, you can replace it with a sheet of parchment paper, but before that you should soak it with a thin layer of oil.

- Sometimes chopped dough is greased with tomato sauce and then spread the filling on it.
