Cooking Rafaello Banana:

Step 1: prepare the nuts.


We sort through walnuts and almonds, removing shell fragments that could remain after peeling. Then we transfer them to the blender bowl, cover it with a lid and turn on the kitchen appliance at the highest speed. Grind nuts into small crumbs and pour it into a deep bowl.

Step 2: prepare the bananas.


Now peel the bananas, break them into smaller pieces, put them in a clean blender bowl and cover it with a lid. We also turn on the kitchen appliance at the highest speed and chop the fruit to a smoothie consistency.

Step 3: prepare a banana-nut mixture.


In a bowl with chopped nuts, add banana puree. Mix them with a tablespoon until a homogeneous consistency. The banana-nut mixture should be of medium softness and not stick to your hands during the formation of balls. If it is too viscous, it is worth adding more ground nuts or a little coconut flakes to the mixture.

Step 4: form a banana "Raffaello".


Now pour coconut into a deep plate. Then cover the baking sheet with a sheet of parchment paper.
After that, we collect a teaspoon of banana-nut mixture. We spread it on the palm of our hands, form a ball the size of a walnut or a small plum, roll it in coconut flakes and put the resulting candy on a prepared baking sheet.

In the same way, we form the remaining candies. When they are ready, we tighten the baking sheet with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 1 - 1.5 hours.

Step 5: Serve the Raffaello Banana.


Raffaello banana - incredibly delicious homemade sweets. After cooking, they are insisted in the refrigerator so that the sweets become more dense. Then they are laid out on a dessert plate and served to the table along with fresh, only brewed tea, coffee or cocoa. Enjoy a delicious and simple meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Sometimes each candy is stuffed with whole nuts, for example, almonds, cedar, peanuts, cashews and many others.

- You can add a chocolate flavor to these sweets by adding a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the banana-nut mixture.

- If desired, instead of coconut, you can use chocolate chips or melted chocolate.

- It is not necessary to use white coconut flakes; for sprinkling, you can take flakes of any color.
