Cooking Ricotta cheese in a slow cooker:

Step 1: prepare the Ricotta cheese in a slow cooker.

Pour milk into the multicooker pan. Add to the same container with a tablespoon the required amount of sour cream. We mix everything well with a silicone spatula, close the lid of the appliance and turn on the mode quenching. Upon expiration 30 minutes turn off the multicooker and immediately switch to the new mode - "heating". Cheese takes us 2-3 hours. During this period, it is better not to mix the ingredients with a spatula, but to allow yourself to curl up and separate the whey from the bulk.

After that, turn off the multicooker and, if necessary, use the kitchen tack to get the pan. Set it aside for a while so that the cheese is completely cool.
Meanwhile, we cover the colander with gauze, which must be folded in four layers. We transfer the milk mass into this container, and we connect the edges of the gauze tightly into a knot. We hang the dish for 2-3 hoursso that there is excess liquid from the glass, and the Ricotta cheese becomes hard by consistency. Attention: if you have the opportunity to hang a knot of cheese over the sink, be sure to use it so as not to substitute the bowl in another place.

Step 2: serve the Ricotta cheese in a slow cooker.

When the Ricotta cheese is ready, untie the knot, and transfer the dish to a cutting board. Cut the cheese into portioned pieces, transfer them to a special serving plate and can treat the household with such a healthy dish.

Attention: this dairy product can turn out to be quite friable (it all depends on the cooking time), so if it initially crumbles, you can not cut it into pieces, and immediately serve it in the form. Such cheese can be savored with tea or coffee, as well as added to all kinds of dishes. For example, it could be a salad of fresh vegetables or boiled pasta.
Good appetite!

Recipe Tips:

- Attention: the longer the cheese hangs, the denser it will turn out by consistency.

- If desired, salt can also be added to the multicooker, then the cheese will become slightly salty. If you do not add this component, then the dish will turn out to be slightly sweet.

- Instead of gauze, you can use linen cloth.
