Striped cupcake


Ingredients for Making Striped Cupcake

  1. Flour 300 g
  2. Sugar 200 g
  3. Chicken eggs 1 pc.
  4. Milk 180 ml
  5. Sour cream 60 ml
  6. Cocoa Powder 50 g
  7. Butter 120 g
  8. Baking powder 1.5 tsp

Cooking Striped Cupcake:

Step 1: Cook the dough.


Sift flour through a sieve into a deep plate or bowl. Add baking powder and mix with a tablespoon. Set aside.
In the bowl of the mixer, spread the butter at room temperature (thawed) and sugar. Beat everything until a homogeneous, slightly fluffy mass. Then add the egg and sour cream. Beat with a mixer again until smooth. Then pour a little flour mixture, beat, then pour a little milk and whisk again with a mixer. Alternate until the milk runs out - the last should be a flour mixture.

Pour half of the dough from the mixer bowl into a clean bowl or plate, add cocoa powder to the bowl and beat the dough again until the chocolate is homogeneous.

Step 2: Prepare the cupcakes for baking.


Special molds for cupcakes are greased with vegetable oil or we put paper forms in them. Then we arm ourselves with two tablespoons and first put the chocolate dough (or white) in the molds, then white and again the chocolate. Layers should be 3 or 4.

Step 3: Bake the dish.


Muffins bake in the oven with 175 degrees during 20-30 minutes until ready.

Then we take it out of the oven and leave it in the form to cool to room temperature.

Step 4: Serve the Striped Cupcake.


We take out the chilled cupcakes and place them nicely on a plate, but special paper molds can be left on the bakery. Cupcakes are usually decorated with icing or whipped cream and served with a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or a milkshake.

Recipe Tips:

- You can check the readiness of cupcakes with a match or a toothpick. We bake pastries and look: if the toothpick (match) is clean, then the muffins are ready, if there are traces of raw dough on it - we leave them in the oven for another 3-5 minutes.

- In a white dough, you can add vanilla extract or vanilla sugar, as well as the zest of any citrus.

- In the chocolate dough, you can add a little chopped nuts or dried fruits to taste.
