Ingredients for making honey biscuit

Cooking honey cake biscuit:

Step 1: prepare the oven and baking dish.


To start, turn on and preheat the oven up to 180 degrees Celsius. Then we determine the baking dish. In total, 2 pieces are needed, they can be rectangular or round. Lubricate their inner walls and bottom with a thin layer of butter, 20 grams per shape.

Step 2: beat eggs and sugar.


Then we put the eggs in a deep bowl, pour the granulated sugar and put it under the mixer blades. We turn on the kitchen appliance at a low speed and start mixing products. As the egg mass thickens, increase the speed of the mixer to the maximum.

We devote to this process 15 - 17 minutes. When the mixture in the bowl takes on a lush, stable texture in the form of airy foam, and the sugar has completely dissolved, we stop the operation of the kitchen appliance and proceed to the next step.

Step 3: prepare the dough.


Add liquid honey and baking soda to a bowl with beaten eggs.
Mix them together until smooth with a wooden kitchen spoon.
Then we arm ourselves with a fine mesh sieve and begin to introduce wheat flour into the resulting product mix.

We act slowly, at the same time kneading a rather thick dough.

Step 4: bake a honey cake biscuit.


Now we divide the dough into 2 parts, lay them out according to the forms prepared for baking and level the semi-finished flour product so that it lies in an even layer.
After we send the honey-biscuit dough into the preheated oven on 30 - 35 minutes. After the required time has passed, we check the readiness of baking with a wooden kitchen skewer. In turn, we introduce its end into the pulp of cakes and get it. If it comes out dry - the honey sponge cake is ready.
We put on kitchen gloves, remove the forms from the oven and put them on cutting boards previously laid on the countertop.
Let the cakes stand for 10 to 12 minutes. Then carefully remove them from the molds and transfer them to the metal grid with a kitchen spatula, where they cool to room temperature.

Step 5: prepare the cream.


Honey cake biscuit is ready, but without soaking the dish will be a bit dry. Therefore, we prepare the simplest cream. Pour sour cream into a deep bowl, add powdered sugar, add a bag of vanilla sugar and place it under clean and dry mixer blades.
We turn on the kitchen appliance at low speed and begin to mix everything. At first, the mass in the bowl will be liquid, but will gradually begin to thicken. Therefore, we periodically change the speed of the kitchen appliance from small to medium and then to the highest level.
When the powder and vanilla sugar dissolve, and the mixture becomes like a dough for fritters, turn off the kitchen appliance. We tighten the bowl with cream with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 6: bring the dessert to full readiness.


After 30 minutes, we proceed to the formation of the cake. We spread one honey-biscuit base on a more flat dish and, using a tablespoon, grease it with a thick layer of thick sour cream.
We put a second base on top of it. We spread the whole cream on it and distribute it over the entire surface and sides of the honey cake. We put the finished dessert in the refrigerator for a couple of hours for impregnation.

Step 7: serve the honey cake biscuit.


Biscuit honey cake is served chilled or at room temperature. Before serving, the cake is cut into portioned slices and laid out on plates.

Its taste resembles honey gingerbread, but more tender and airy. The delicate aroma of the dessert combines notes of honey, vanilla sugar and dairy products.

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of baking soda, you can use baking powder for dough.

- You can add chopped walnuts to the dough.

- The formed cake can be sprinkled with chopped nuts, chocolate, cookies, oatmeal.

- Sometimes, to get a coffee aftertaste, add a tablespoon of granulated instant coffee or cocoa powder to the dough. You can also put in it a bag of vanilla sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
