Ingredients for Making Pumpkin Buns

Pumpkin:

  1. Pumpkin 500 g
  2. Sugar 2 tbsp. l
  3. Butter 30 g

For dough:

  1. Boiling water 100 ml.
  2. Margarine 20 g.
  3. Flour 1 tbsp. l
  4. Fresh yeast 15 g.
  5. Sugar 1 tsp with a slide.
  6. Salt pinch
  7. Warm water 3 tbsp.

For the test:

  1. Warm milk 200 ml.
  2. Sugar 100 gr.
  3. 2 eggs
  4. Melted margarine 100 g.
  5. Salt 0.5 tsp
  6. Flour to taste

Cooking pumpkin rolls:

Step 1: Cook the pumpkin.

Peel the pumpkin, cut into small cubes. Melt the butter in a pan, pour the pumpkin, mix. Sprinkle sugar over the pumpkin and fry over high heat, stirring frequently. Until the moisture evaporates, and the pumpkin does not look like candied fruit. Pour the finished pumpkin onto a plate with a thin layer and cool quickly (put in a cold place).

Step 2: Prepare the dough.

Pour boiling water into a bowl, add melted margarine and 1 tbsp. l flour. Quickly knead the dough without lumps, let cool a little. Dilute the yeast in a small amount of warm water with sugar and a pinch of salt. Combine the brewed dough with yeast and mix well. Add a little flour and knead not a thick dough. Cover with foil and let go, mix and let go again.

Step 3: Cook the dough.

In a bowl combine warm milk, eggs, pumpkin, melted margarine, sugar, mix everything. Add the matched dough, mix. Gradually adding flour, knead the soft dough. The dough should not stick to your hands. Put in a bowl and cover with a film and let go. The dough will double. Knead the dough and let it come again.

Step 4: Bake the pumpkin rolls.

As the dough fits a second time, divide into pieces. On a greased table with vegetable oil, we roll a thick sausage. Divide the sausage into equal parts. From each small piece we roll a round bun with our hands. Put the bun on a baking sheet, let go and grease with a beaten egg. Bake rolls in a preheated oven to 180 degrees until browned.
