Ingredients for making beef cutlets
- Ground beef 400 g

- Breadcrumbs 1/3 cup

Cooking beef cutlets:
Step 1: Cooking minced meat for cutlets.
In a bowl or deep plate, spread the ground beef, add the breadcrumbs, salt and black pepper to taste. We wash the egg under hot running water, break it into a bowl and mix everything until smooth.
Put the prepared meat for cutlets in the refrigerator.
Step 2: chop the onion.Choose a larger onion, peel it, rinse under running water and lay on a cutting board. Of course, you can chop it into small pieces of arbitrary shape, but the dish will look much more appetizing if you chop the onion with beautiful half rings.
Step 3: Form the cutlets.
We take the bowl out of the refrigerator, wet our hands in water and form cutlets from the minced meat. You will get depending on the size of 4 - 8 pcs.
Step 4: Fry the patties.
We turn on the medium heat on the stove, pour vegetable oil into the pan and put on the burner. After the oil has warmed up, put the patties in a frying pan and fry first 3 to 4 minutes on one side until a beautiful golden brown crust, then turn over with a kitchen spatula and cook on the other side for such a time. Then we transfer the semi-finished cutlets to a clean plate.
Step 5: Cook the Gravy.
Add a little vegetable oil to the same pan and spread the onions.
Mix with a spatula and add salt and black pepper to taste. Cook the onion until beautiful caramel color for 15 minutes.
Then pour the flour, mix, fry for 2 minutes.
Then pour the meat broth and cook for another 2 minutes.
We put cutlets in the gravy, put onions on them, reduce the heat to a minimum level, cover the pan with a lid and cook the dish until fully cooked for about 15 minutes.
Step 6: Serve the beef patties.
We lay the beef cutlets on plates with a side dish and gravy, and serve hot for the second. And as a side dish, mashed potatoes, boiled pasta, cereals or vegetables are perfect. Ready-made cutlets are so aromatic, juicy and tasty that you just lick your fingers!

- The broth for this recipe is better to use beef.
- Together with black pepper, you can add other aromatic spices and seasonings to the dish.
- If you do not have bread crumbs, then you can use plain white bread, previously soaked in water or milk.
- It will turn out tastier if you replace ordinary onions with red.
