Hot cucumbers


Ingredients for Cooking Hot Cucumbers

  1. Cucumbers 5 kilograms
  2. Salt 100 grams
  3. Sugar 100 grams
  4. Vinegar 100 milliliters
  5. Fresh dill on a branch for each jar
  6. Red chili peppers in a pod for each jar
  7. Garlic to taste
  8. Mustard seeds to taste
  9. Black peppercorns to taste
  10. Allspice peas to taste
  11. Bay leaf to taste
  12. Pure water 5 liters
  • Main ingredients: Cucumber, Pepper

Inventory:

A basin, a pan, clean cans with lids, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, a ladle, a wide funnel, a kitchen towel, a thin blanket.

Cooking spicy cucumbers:

Step 1: prepare the cucumbers.


First, rinse the cucumbers, do not forget to trim the ends on both sides, and then fold the vegetables into a bowl and pour clean cold water. Let the cucumbers soak for 4-5 hours. During this time, you will have time to prepare the dill greens, peel the garlic cloves and pepper pods and rinse the jars properly.

Step 2: pour the cucumbers.


In each jar at the bottom, lay a sprig of dill, bay leaf and a couple of whole cloves of garlic, peeled.

Then lay cucumbers tightly together. Remember to add hot chili peppers. The pod can be cut into rings, halved or left whole, it is at your discretion.
Sprinkle mustard seeds on top of the cucumbers and add the peas of black and allspice.

Now it's time to prepare the fill. To do this, boil 5 liters of pure water in a saucepan, add salt and sugar. Bring the contents of the pan to a boil and make sure that the sugar and salt are completely dissolved.
Remove the brine from the heat and add vinegar to it, mix and pour it into jars of cucumbers. Pour so that there is absolutely no free space for air in the container. Close jars with blanks with lids.

Step 3: sterilize the workpieces.


Cover the bottom of a large pot with a kitchen towel, fill it with hot water (the water should be about the same temperature as the brine inside the cans), and put the prepared hot pickles inside. Sterilize jars in boiling water for 15 minutes.
Remove the sterilized workpieces, wrap them with a thin blanket and set to cool. But when the hot cucumbers have cooled down, they can be freed from the coat and sent to stand in a better place inaccessible to the sun.

Step 4: serve the hot cucumbers.


Spicy cucumbers are both a great addition to the side dish and a nice snack for strong drinks. And how good they are with boiled potatoes, just an overeating! No purchases can be compared with them. Since my friend shared with me a recipe for cooking these cucumbers, I always try to prepare more of them, otherwise it happens that even before the New Year everyone eats up. Let you have only the most delicious snacks on the festive table, and spicy cucumbers among them.

Recipe Tips:

- For harvesting according to this recipe, you will need 3 three-liter jars or 5 one and a half liter jars.

- Use either key water or bottled water, bought at a store, and not collected from a tap.

- If you wrap cans, it is better to use a proven key, and not a new one.
