Ingredients for making homemade pita bread

Homemade pita bread preparation:
Step 1: Cook the dough.Pour two glasses of water into a large bowl, pour out the salt and mix until most of the grains dissolve. Then, in parts, add flour through a sieve, sifting at the same time, and after each time mix thoroughly with a fork or whisk. As soon as it becomes difficult to mix with a whisk (fork), we continue kneading with our hands. As a result, we should get a thick dough that sticks to our hands. If the dough is too soft, add some more flour.
We leave the finished dough for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the dish for frying.After the dough has been infused, sprinkle a flat surface with flour and spread the dough on it. Knead it until elastic for about 15 - 20 minutes. The dough should stop sticking to the rolling pin and to the table.
Then we divide into small parts, and each roll out into a thin round cake.
The approximate thickness of the cake should be no more than 5 mm.
Step 3: Fry the pita bread.We put a clean frying pan on the stove, turn on the medium heat and wait for it to warm up. Then lightly sprinkle the cake with flour and spread in a pan. Fry it on both sides until light brown, a little pressed with a kitchen towel or napkins when bloated. Put in a clean plate and fry the next pita bread.
Step 4: Serve homemade pita bread.Pita bread is allowed to cool slightly and served instead of bread for the first and second courses. Although you can completely cool them down and use them for preparing snacks with vegetables, meat or mushrooms for a light snack, for example, at school or at work.
