Tuna and Celery Salad

Ingredients for Salad with Tuna and Celery

For salad

  1. Canned tuna in own juice 1 can
  2. Celery stalks 2 pieces (medium)
  3. Eggs 2 pieces (selected)
  4. Fresh cucumber 1 piece (medium)

For refueling

  1. Vegetable oil (olive) 2 tablespoons
  2. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  3. Ground black pepper to taste
  4. Salt to taste

Stewpan, kitchen knife, cutting board, deep plate, fork, can opener, bowl, whisk.

Making a salad with tuna and celery:

Step 1: Prepare the eggs.

Hard-boiled eggs, for this, dip them in a saucepan, pour water and put on the stove. As soon as the contents of the container boil, reduce the heat and continue cooking for 10-12 minutes. Then transfer the eggs to ice water and leave them there until completely cooled. Only after they cool, remove the eggs, dry, peel the shell and cut into small cubes.

Step 2: Prepare Celery

Rinse the celery stalks thoroughly with running water, dry and cut each lengthwise in half or in three. Then chop the celery on very small pieces, continuing to cut across the stem.

Step 3: Prepare the cucumber.

Rinse the cucumber, cut off the ends on both sides and be sure to check if the peel is bitter or too thick. Sometimes in order to make the salad more tender and avoid bitterness, the cucumber is peeled, and not only from the skin, but also from the seeds. After washing and cleaning, cut the vegetable into small cubes.

Step 4: Prepare the tuna.

Open a can of tuna and drain all excess fluid from the fish. Using a fork, mash the fish flesh, but not very finely, without turning an appetizing slice of tuna into porridge.

Step 5: Preparing a salad dressing.

Pour olive oil, lemon juice into a separate bowl, pour enough black pepper and salt. Stir, whip dressing.

Step 6: Mix the salad with tuna and celery.

Put all previously prepared salad ingredients in a deep plate, pour with dressing and mix very well. You don’t need to send this salad, it is better to serve it on the table.

Step 7: Serve the salad with tuna and celery.

A salad made with this recipe with tuna and celery is incredibly light and fresh, but nutritious and satisfying. When you should serve it, you decide for yourself, but I would recommend starting with it in the morning so that from the very beginning of the day you have the strength and mood to achieve your goals and objectives.
