Cooking dumplings cottage cheese with a banana:
Step 1: prepare the chocolate.
We spread a bar of chocolate on a cutting board and, using a knife, cut into small squares. Attention: You can also break the ingredient with your hands if it initially comes in square portions. Shredded chocolate is transferred to a free plate.
Step 2: prepare the egg.
We break the egg into a deep bowl and use a hand whisk or mixer to beat it until smooth. Attention: if you will use an electric appliance, then beat the ingredient at low speed for 1 minutes.
Step 3: prepare the cottage cheese.
We spread the cottage cheese in a medium bowl and, using a fork, mix it well. Important: in order for the cottage cheese to turn into a curd mass without lumps, you can also use a blender and beat the component at medium speed until smooth. I usually do that.
Step 4: prepare the dough.
Pour a beaten egg into a bowl with cottage cheese and mix thoroughly with a fork or blender. After this, pour semolina, a pinch of salt and a little sugar into the container. Again, whisk everything until a homogeneous mass is formed. At the end, add flour in small portions and mix everything in parallel until the mass begins to turn into dough. Important: flour may be required and more. It all depends on its variety and type of cottage cheese. Therefore, we determine the amount of this component "by eye". In any case, the curd mixture should resemble a soft dough, like lazy dumplings. After that, with clean, dry hands, we form a ball from the mass and for now put it aside.
Step 5: prepare the banana.
We wash the banana under running water and put it on a cutting board. We clean the fruit from the peel and after - cut it into thin circles with a knife. The processed component is transferred to a clean plate and immediately proceed to the process of cooking until the banana has darkened.
Step 6: prepare the dumplings cottage cheese with a banana.
We put the test ball on the kitchen table, crushed with a small amount of flour. We roll a sausage out of it, which we then cut across with a knife into portioned slices.
Each piece of dough is rolled out using a rolling pin into a small cake. Then we spread a piece of banana on each test layer, and on top - a chocolate cube. We tightly fasten the edges of the dough with our hands and then roll the dumplings into a ball. We put the formed dish aside and repeat the procedure from beginning to end with the remaining ingredients and test cakes.
In the meantime, put a free pan on medium heat and heat a small amount of ordinary water in it (it should be so much that dumplings can drown in it). When the liquid boils, add a little salt and sugar to it, mix everything well with a tablespoon and make the fire less than average. Carefully put one dumplings in boiling water and cook them for 7-8 minutes. After the allotted time with the help of a slotted spoon, we get out the dessert and transfer it to a colander so that excess liquid comes out of it. Meanwhile, put the next portion in boiling water and continue cooking.
When the cottage cheese dumplings with banana become warm, roll them on all sides in coconut flakes, which we poured into a deep plate in advance. In the end, using a fork, we transfer our dessert to a flat dish and can be served at a sweet table.
Step 7: serve the cottage cheese dumplings with a banana.
Cottage cheese dumplings with banana in appearance resemble Raffaello candies, and to taste - lazy dumplings with chocolate and banana filling. This dessert can be served with sour cream dressing, whipped cream, as well as chocolate or custard.
- In addition to the ram, you can put crushed nuts or Philadelphia cheese in dumplings. It turns out also very tasty!
- In addition to soft cottage cheese, you can use ordinary granular. Only in this case it is definitely better to use a blender so that later curd grains do not come across in the dish itself.
- Dumplings can be served to the dessert table in warm or cold form and stored in the refrigerator for no longer than 3-4 days.
